Ok I just bought new C5 OEM thin spoke wheels. I believe 18" x 9". I have 275 40 18 in the rear and 265 40 18 in the front. What size spacers do I need for my 2000 Trans Am

i just bought oem vette y2k's rims too, i have 17x8.5 and 18x9.5, if yours are oem the rear will have a 65mm offset. this will not fit an fbody, the offsets that fits f bodies are 38mm-58mm i believe so you need to get it down into that range. You can try a 1/4 inch spacer on stock bolts, if that doesnt work you have a couple options. 1) you can buy the ARP 2.5in studs and put a bigger spacer on like 1/2inspacer. 2) you can get different offset rims, or 3) you can buy a 1in hubcentric wheel adapter, i bought a 1in wheel adapter because its the safe and cheap, any other questions feel free to ask. i should be getting my adapter in by tuesday and ill know for sure how it works then...the 1 in adapter should put the offset from 65mm to 40mm which are supposed to fit
