supercharged mustang VS mild bolt-on LS1 So at the Q the other night, I saw JSTEELE90 beat a 2000 or 2001 mustang GT. The LS1 has mild bolt-ons and the mustang had a kenne bell supercharger. Nice kill Jon! just thought I would share.

How intense do you want? It was at the strip. Let me see, the tree dropped and the LS1 walked his *** down the track. Then they crossed the line, started braking and turned to drive back around. Almost forgot, they pulled up to get the time slips. There, I am very, very sorry for leaving out all of the excitement. I hope this works for you KISS MY SS!

Lol... Well maybe some more info on each car would be nice. Like what else did the mustang have? How much boost was he running? What are the little bolt ons the LS1 had. Automatic or manual? Etc...

Alright, well the mustang is a guy we know who talks a lot of **** about his car, but has never impressed us. He has full bolt ons, and he says he has a lot of suspension mods. He just put the Kenne Bell on his car and had it tuned by some place called Dynomite. They say he puts down 408RWHP, but I dont know. That is on 9lbs of boost.Jons LS1 just has gears(373), intake, throttlebody,magnaflows,little box tune from hypertech, and thats about it.He ran a 8.6, and the stang went 9.2. I cant wait to see what he runs after his headers,Y-pipe, and stall. The stang spun some, but not enough to knock down more than half a second.

Well, that track does suck, he ran a best of 8.7 that night,but still that is pathetic to me. My car ran a 8.4 spinning the entire way down the track. I was just givin props to a slightly bolt-on LS1 that ran those times against a blown stang

wow the mustang guy you just described sounds just like the guy by my house with a GT. It also has a KB+some bolt ons and claims to make 425 rwhp, yet when we raced (me being bone stock at the time) we were 1-1 after two races(really close races).....he didnt impress me at all considering his claimed HP versus my stock car wich he was convinced that i was running nitrous. So we had to pull over so i could show him i was stock LOL
