Fiberglass work?

Fiberglass work? My sail panel has the bubbling issue that a lot of the LS1 F-bodies have. I bought a replacement sail panel on Ebay to fix it. However, the genius that put it in the box did only that: put it in a box. There was no padding or wrapping at all. The corners poked through the box and were ground down as the shipping company slid the box across the floor. Now, only two of the corners were damaged. The worst one has less than a 1/4 inch ground off. Can this be fixed with resin and hardener? I imagine I would have to build up about 1/2 inch of material and then sand it back down to its original shape. I'm just worried about the repair adhering to the original piece considering the affected area is so very thin. The panel was brand new before this. The ground corners are the only imperfections.

It's not fiberglass so NO resin. It's made of SMC. You'll need to go to a store that sells collision repair materials and get something that will adhere to SMC. 3M makes a good product and SEM does as well.

Sheet Molded Compound, like stated above go to the supply shop for what you need. I'd send it back and make the idiots pack it right the next time before spending my own money and time to fix, just my two pennies...
Sounds like a GM secret factory glue! I agree with sending it right back to em. Tell em to pack it right or refund your money. Swat
