Default High Mileage for Cam?

I currenty am in the process of installing an MTI stealth II cam in my car. My concern is I currenty have 115,000 miles on the motor. Should I be worried? The car seems to run strong with 40-45 psi oil pressure.

I would probably change the cam too, just make sure you change all gaskets associated with swap and I would get a new timing chain and LS6 oil pump then you should be ok.

+1 i have seen a few folks on here put cams in 100k+ mile blocks with no problems . might want to change out the gaskets though as they do wear after time .

I think it should be fine as long as you change springs and retainers, oil pump, and push rods.

I dont see why not do it at any mileage. Just do gaskets, oil pump and valvesprings... the only thing i can think of is it may be hard on your stock lifters with higher lift cam and tougher valvesprings. of course do pushrods too

116K with heads and cam, still running strong. Id go for it. Just replace as much as you can while youre in there. Do a compression and possibly a leak down test if you want some added piece of mind that the rings are still in good shape.
