Default Swapping to LS6 intake - injectors?

About to swap out a stock 2001 engine out of my car for a TR224 cammed 2000 LS1. I was thinking about taking the LS6 intake off the '01 engine and putting it on the '00, but was curious if I should also take the bigger '01 injectors as well. The PCM with the '00 motor is already tuned for the combination existing, and the '01 PCM is stock. The plan is to take the '01 motor and install it in a buddies land yacht, so hes not overly concerned with the top end power the LS6 intake will provide which is why I can take it. Neither of us want to retune.

So basically, will the stock '00 injectors keep up with a 224/Pacesetter/LS6 intake? Would the smaller injectors on the '01 motor cause a serious problem?

Default

I upgraded to the 02 injectors soon after adding the LS6 intake. My injector duty cycle was maxing out with the 00 26lbers. With a cam I would definitely do it, or even go bigger.

You will have to tune, though, if you do the swap. You have to have the proper injector flow rate tables for each.
