Default Fuel tank: sealed or vented?

Will everything be ok with the stock vented tank and cap? Should it be sealed instead?

The vented tank/cap will work fine. No need to change it

thanks, I was just curious, I've heard of newer cars having a light come on if the cap was left off

Yeah the new cars have a pressure sensor in the tank that notices if it is open to atmosphere. But you will have to delete that sensor out of the computer anyway since it is a real pain to swap that over to your old tank anyway

Can you vent just the cap? Or should both be vented?
