Pioneer AVIC-F90BT
Anyone have a Pioneer AVIC-F90BT head unit? If so, how do you like it and what speakers are you running? I'm wanting to replace my factory one with this one and replace all the speakers.

How much are you selling the AVIC-F90BT for?
Also, I'm trying to put this into a 2002 Trans Am & 2002 Camaro SS, I already have both modified bezels. My question is, what speakers to go with for replacement of the factory ones to use with this radio?
Do I need an amp? I've heard I can't use the factory Monsoon amp. Can I just bypass the factory amp and just run straight off the head unit?

There is absolutely no reason that you can't run the new head unit with the Monsoon amp and speakers. In fact, replacing the head unit is probably the single best thing you can do to improve the sound of the factory system. Just get the harness adapter and antenna adapter for connecting the Pioneer to the factory wiring, plug it in, mount it, and you're ready to go.
You can replace the Monsoon speakers as long as you follow some guidelines about what fits and works with the Monsoon amp (information discussed in many threads here) but it isn't necessary unless your speakers are blown.
And certainly, you can replace the Monsoon amp with a good aftermarket setup if you want to (and you have the money) but again, it's not necessary. The factory amp is actually pretty good for a relatively low powered 8-channel unit.

Ive installed a few. Before the firmware updates and after. I thought i wanted this unit before i actally used it in a car. Boot time is very long when you first start the car. Touch screen response is very slow too. It has great features but still needs all the bugs worked out before i buy one. Id wait about 3 more months at least before you get it. Check avic411.com they may have reviews on that unit. The kenwoods work great though!
