Power loss with 12bolt

Default Power loss with 12bolt

about how much power is lost through the drive train on the t-56 with a 12 bolt and 4.10s?

I went from a 10-bolt with 3.73s to a 12-bolt with 4.11's, added an Underdrive pulley and the car put down the same exact HP on the dyno.

really? Oh, well i also have a solid steel drive shaft, I'm sure i have some power loss with that.

You do get a power loss, to say 15 hp isnt out of the question

You'll get TQ multiplication with the gear change, and less drivetrain loss with the UD pulley, so overall you should conclude that the 12-bolt will have a ~5-7% power loss over a 10-bolt.
