Help Help Leaking Antifreeze Arouns Back Head Stud
Please Anyone Ever Seen Antifreeze Leak Out From Around The Pass Back Head Stud Its The One By Header. Doesn't Look Like Its Comming From Block. I Have Not Started My Car But For A Min Or Two Since My Swap. Think The Torque Is Wrong?? WOULD IT BE OK TO TAKE HEAD STUD OUT AND PUT THREAD SEALER ON IT AND TORQUE IT BACK DOWN? Please Help

i am using mls gaskets with prc stage 1 ls6 heads, i hand screwed studs in and then put heads on an torqued them to specs. i don't think i did anything out of the ordinary

I have a very similar problem that I have not yet taken a look at yet. I think in my case the coolant is actually coming from one of the exhaust header bolts. These are usually blind holes also but I wouldn't be surprised on a CNC head if it got to close and opened up that hole to a water passage. The water on mine was coming directly out of the rear most exhaust header bolt. Did you ever tap and thread an exhaust header bolt hole? That could have been it too. Just something else to consider.
