Default Can I paint over ceramic coated headers

I have a set of Kooks LT's that have red ceramic coating. The problem is they have turned pink in the hottest areas. Can I paint over them with a hightemp paint of some sort?

Pardon my dumb post but I didn't know ceramic coating came in different colors? Also why would you coat stainless headers?

Yes, the coating can come in a lot of different colors...and you would coat stainless steel headers for the same reason you'd coat any headers. It's not just for rust prevention....

VHT sells a nice high temp paint..check out the local auto parts stores...it won't hurt to try...

True it will help keep the temps down but I would just love to see stainless under the hood.

Some people get colors that might match their car, or a theme they are going for?
