cd player install help

cd player install help im installing a cd player into my friend's focus and ran into a snag, its a panasonic cq-c7301u. ive found the wiring diagram for the car, but i have no idea what wires do what on the cd players harness. theres no sticker diagram on the unit itself and she got it used so that doesnt help me. please help.

Just get the proper wiring harness adapter. Then you connect the wires on the harness adapter to the same color wires on the Panasonic head unit and the whole thing will plug in to the factory harness. That takes all the guess work out of match which wires go where.
The correct harness will depend on the year of the Focus. 2000-03 use one type, 2004 uses a different one, and 05-07 use a different one again.
