Street Racing & Kill Stories - State Troopers can be cool.

Back when i had my 93 z28, i ran an 01 GT, he was in front of me so i vered through 2 lanes of traffic to get next to him at the light. The state troopers way behind me (that i didnt see) viewed it all. The stang gave me 3 or 4 strong revs so i had to represent the f-bodys- the light changed and i nailed it. as i was viewing him in my rearview i noticed red and blue flashing lights. i let off, not even in second gear yet. The mustang owner never even saw the cop and did a flyby. When the officer got next to me he yelled on his PA follow me. the cops in their crown vic began to chase down the GT, i'm sure it looked odd a GT doing over 100 down a popular road with a cop in persuit and a Z28 tailgating the cop. When the guy finally stopped, instead of being handcuffed and ruffed up like on cops, they were pretty laid back. I got my tickets for exhibition of acceleration, and RACING. Then both cops started commenting on our cars,they proceded to get in an argrument on who would win right in front of us. They commented to me about my car and let me go. the other guy had no liscense or insurance so he stayed. still, for getting ticketed i'm glad the cops made it that fun for me.

I guess you assumed they had already seen your plates, cause I'm sure it probably woulda been tempting to just turn off behind them somewhere and dissapear!

I probably would've tried to pass them both ... then be like, oh I thought you said to pass us, sorry.

I was pissed enough as it was no need for evading arrest or some bull$hit. But the thought did cross my mind.

If i would have saw it I would have thought damn, that Z just got owned by a mustang and a cop car. That sucks. I had just got finished street racing one day and two more were goin, a formula and a mustang, they got cought, the cop chased the formula, the stang took off and got a warrant out for his arrest, better not to run :)

Once I was turning off clay onto the beltway and right when we entered two stangs just stopped in the middle of the feeder. Well we noticed a cop sitting at the end of a gas station maybe 70 feet away. We roll down the windows screaming "COP! Break it off! He's coming after your ass!" Then all at the same time the cop starts this huge burnout enveloping his whole car in smoke, then flew out of it and did a burnout all the way onto the road. The two mustangs launched and were burning out. The cop got behind them and flipped on the lights. Both the stangs just went like 30 until the cop got directly behind the one on the right, then the other guy slowly entered the freeway. My video camera had just ran out of batteries :bang:
