Default I'm so PISSED!

Strange just called me and tells me I didn't ship them all the parts. I sent them backing plates because thats what I was told to ship. They tell me they need the caliper brackets. So anyways I ended up paying the ******* $270 for new "backing plates" cause I don't feel like waiting until next week to get this ******* rear built.

Anytime Justin!

Just pissed that I'm spending money I don't need to spend because I am impatient.

I just don't understand why the rocket scientist that received my package didn't contact me 3 weeks ago and say hey your missing some parts.

Bummer. At that point I might have opted to install the bearings and axles myself. Hang in there...

Yeah that's why I just paid for the new one's. Plus I didn't have extra plates to spare. It does suck paying like $260 for em' though.

LOL 2 10 bolts, 1 set of backing plates which were in use. So I got an extra set now, I just gotta pull em' off the rear if needed. However I'd rather get rid of em' w/ the rear attached.

race parts are great, be prepared for disapointment alot when it comes to racing. parts late, parts broken, parts wrong, blown parts, need more parts etc etc etc. it is never ending. pretty sure my car has cost close to double what it should and that just from over nighting parts all the time to get stuff done. lol

Did you guys really think the calipers were retained by sheet metal backing plates?

LOL, that's just about sig material Brad. ****, every year I start working on the car in late january/early february figuring I'd have it ready by april, and I haven't made it out once before memorial day in 2 years.

This year I'm gonna start in december, or the first day after the last track trip, in hopes that it will be done to actually get out when the season starts.

But it won't matter, some part is gonna take 12 weeks to get anyway LOL

If you stayed 12x1.5 when you ordered your rear end, do yourself a favor and get some extra wheel studs/bolts because you are not going to get them at the local hardware store. Strange uses a fully threaded bolt in the axle flange and they can't be had from any other source that I have found. If you break one on a Friday night you'll be thinking " For the want of a nail a kingdom was lost".

Id like to hope that he just went with 5/8 studs right away and saved the whole hassle of worring about a broken stud. You break a 5/8 stud you're doing something impressive
