Koni 4/4 or 4/3
Finally saved enough for my Koni's
Going with Strano's Package, Koni's, strano springs, and adjustable PHB.
Now I have to decide if I need the 4/4's or 4/3's.
I have a DD 2001 Z28 (mods in sig). I know the 4/4's are "externally adjustable" and the 4/3's are "internally adjustable".
I don't plan on adjusting them much. Mostly want to find a comfortable ride and stick with it. Should I shell out the extra $$$ on the 4/4's or just go with the 4/3's? Are there any other differences between the two?
Any input is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

4/3s would probably be better for you if your not planning on adjusting them much after the install. I went with the 4/4's because i didnt want to hafta take them off just to adjust them. Not to mention disassembling the interior to get to the top nut to take them off. With the 4/4s i just pull the little flap of carpet back that goes over the top of the shock and then adjust them to how i please. Either way its up to you.

if you dont plan on anymore or any adjustable suspension parts in the future go with the 4/3. I have 4/4 and am constantly adjusting the rear shocks for the different roads i am driving on and for different "style" of driving i am doing. I love the adjustability of the 4/4 its so fast and simple.

Koni SA's have a fixed compression rate and an adjustable rebound. The KYB's adjust rebound and compression at the same time with one adjuster. So if you want more rebound you automatically get more compression even if you don't want more. This is not something that is exactly desired.
