Eastern Members - Security light

:bang:Can anyone scan a security light on an 02 TA. I have the snap on solus, but it wont let me into the security light. Thanks!!!!!!!

as in the Security light comes on and the car wont start??
check the chip on your key and make sure it isnt damaged or wet.....other than that, it means your vats system went bad and needs to be replaced or Bypassed.

Car starts once in a great while it wont start on me, so when that happens i just leave the key in the on position for like 10 minutes and it starts up. Just wanted to know if I could pinpoint the problem. Its probably a broken wire in the steering wheel or maybe a cylinder, but who knows...

i think you need to sell that car and buy a GN!!!!!!! less headaches and way more power than your TA. lol

Yeah that whole 10 lbs of boost... Maybe you can get a bigger turbo to overcome all the holes in the IC...:chug:

Try moving the key around in the cylinder bore. If I don't push the key all the way in, the light will come on. A simply push on the key and the light goes off 30 seconds later.
