Default Cant remove axles!!

Can anyone tell me how to remove the axles on a Moser 12bolt, 33 spline axles. The rear has no abs or traction control, so I know that the sensors aren't in the way by the backing plate. Any input anyone?
Thanks,
-Pat

did you push them in and remove the C clips if you have them?

How you remove them depends on the differential type/brand.
It either has C clips or not.
With c clips remove the crosspin bolt and pin, brakes, and push the axle in and turn it until you hear the c clip fall out, then pull the axle.

If you have a non c clip type, just remove the four brake backing plate bolts and pull, you don't even have to remove the cover/drain the fluid.

Correct, and when you have to pull, sometimes you need to really pull! A rubber mallet is sometimes required to coax the axles out of the center unit. Bob

Is there a way to tell if it has C-clips, or is it pretty much a guessing game?

Take the cover off and shine a light at the ends of the axles.
