Default Strano springs weight VS stock springs weight

Tried a search. Anyone weighed both springs? I'm a weight savings junkie.

They're lighter. Ship, boxed @ 27 pounds. 10-15 pounds less per set than others because of the material used and the fact we don't use a lot of extra wire to make progressive rate fronts.

In fact, the design is enough of a help that we actually weigh a few pounds less than the standard production Vogtland springs made of the same material due to the way ours are wound.

Thanks sam, makes me happy that I'll be losing more weight.

You won't save a lot vs stock because the stock springs, being softer and linear use smaller diameter wire (lighter) and due to length do not need the built in tender spring rate in the rear.

I just weighed a stock rear vs. a Strano rear. Pretty much a wash. My fronts use less coils than stock, but they are thicker. Should save a couple pounds, but won't be much. Sorry, don't have a GM front to weigh for you.
