Stock cd player track 5 So....is this a common problem or just my car? The cd player will play cds, but will freeze up and Error if it tries to play past track #5. I've tried jumping from Track 1 to the end of the CD, but it just won't play any songs except 1-5..
And it does it on every cd...how does it know? LOL.

Sounds like something is keeping the laser from moving past track 5 on a disk. Either some dust/debris is blocking it, or its damaged. Thats my guess. If you are felling adventurous, you can disassemble the headunit and inspect.
