Default Question about lug nuts.

I'm buying a set of AFS ZR1 wheels and needed to know what type of lug nuts I'll need to use? I sent AFS the question and haven't goten an answer back. Thanks in advance.

dude either go the cheap way and go to autozone or get some gorilla ones. Just an FYI DO NOT buy the locks from autozone, they strip and you have to go get them drilled off from the shop!!

Or you can just re-use your stock lugnuts.

Stock would be fine.

When I last wanted a new set of lugs, I bought a set w/ chrome caps from SLP.

I agree that Gorilla locking lugs are quality. I have had a set since 1996.

Drilled off??? Just take a socket thats just a hair to small for them....beat it onto the lugnut with a hammer and spin it off with an impact. Thats the easiest way to do it. I have used that method before and I know thats the way shops around here do it.

Let me know if you need some gorillas, as with these wheels I believe you have center caps that cover the lugs and I have a set of gorilla (20) all locking open ended 12mm x 1.5 in the FS section. Just PM me if interested.

That's the rims I'm buying. Thanks for the offer DAVE00 but I want closed end since the lugs are exposed.

I didn't realize you have an LT1, so I doubt you have lugnuts with individual caps.

I've been running Gorilla lugnuts for a while now and they're great. They offer closed-end, which is what I run. I bought mine from Thunder Racing:
