Default Springs are in and guess what else

Well the First 6 hours went almost flawlessly except for one knuckle. Used "Tim's Tool" to swap in the 918's in prep for the cam swap.

So then the last half hour I am removing the Rad when Bonehead move #1 happens, It is coming out smoothly from the top and I left the lower hose on the Rad, well when I pivot it to clear another hose the last bit of fluid that would not drain comes running out the hose which was incedentily over the cylinder head, and dumping fluid down into the engine with the Oil

Shortly after that, I was trying to remove the Hamonic balancer bolt, but had little to work with to lock it in place. So I tried a wrench and ended up bending it into a Banana. But what was worse was that it wrapped around and punched a hole through the timing cover the size of a quarter, which I found upon inspection from the bottom.

Needless to say, I should have quit while I was ahead.

Did you get the bolt off? I have the kent more SST that locks the flywheel in place, you could use it. I'm up in Ventura county, a little drive.

Nope but I will find something in the morning that will do the trick, thanks for the offer thou.

I have another timing cover I can use, so it will happen in the morning depending on when the hangover wearsoff.

Hey man, when we were on the Edelbrock tour, they mentioned coming out with a LS1 two-peice timing cover. If it's out, you should get that.

Cam is in, going back together tomorrow night. I'll pocket the Grand and do my own work, more satisfaction from it that way.

The 2 peice cover is insanely priced!, you would have to swap a cam a week to justify it. something like $450 for it.
