Pontiac G8 2008-2010 - Test drove a G8GT and almost drove it home

So I am driving around with the wife and kids and my wife says lets stop by the dealership. Now we have been thinking of getting more economical car that she would be willing to drive, etc. So I took a look at the vibe. Not back, if you think of the car as an appliance. 30ish mpg and a lot of room. So the salesman and I drive it around. I get back and my wife had been "walking around" and she says I need to drive a G8GT!:headbang: She said the vibe didn't look like me and I would hate it. It has the leather, and the sunroof. Magnetic Gray Metallic exterior.

So we do and WOW! Talk about a smooth high quality ride that is pretty quick! So impressive that we were thinking seriously of buying it. My wife used to have a GP GTP coupe. If we bought it, she would definitely be finding excuses to drive it!:drive:

However, I have to be freaking responsible:bang: and think about the fact that I am moving and will have to buy another house and all that. I have some big bonuses coming later in the year and I am definitely thinking about taking one of these bad boys home.

So yeah, I can't get that outta my head right now.


I wonder how much a 20k loan would lower my credit score?:devil:


Anyways, my point was that this is a NICE car. As many of you already know. Hopefully I can join the ranks in the future.......

I told myself that I would be waiting until I bought my G8 GT and it lasted a couple weeks after a test drive. The time in between was just because my car didn't come in yet haha.

its all right dude.. They will be plenty waiting for you when you are ready and most likely be a better vehicle
