Default Need help with picking a cam

I was told by a sponsor that i should get a 231/234 .640/.590 112 lsa cam shaft for my car. I have all the modds listed in my sig. I will soon be getting 3:73. I was wondering if there were any other stalled auto's out there running a cam like this, if so what numbers are you making and how do you like it. Whats better the ls6 oil pump or a melling. Any input would be great. Thanks
