Default Z06 Axle back exhaust question

What axle back exhaust performs the best as far as whp/wtq but also keeping a deep low tone like the stock titanium axle back??? I was told that axle backs werent really necessary on a Z06 with the titanium exhaust cause it flowed as good as any aftermarket axle backs?? Any recs? I wanted the magnaflow 15713 but if i dont gain but 4whp for $1,000, ill just save for the kooks w/x-pipe. its a 2001 z06.
Thanks

Do some lg pros and their x pipe, your z06 exhaust will be fine.

Most aftermarket exhausts will be excessively loud once you add Longtubes and especially if you delete the cats...

If you do headers, off road pipe and keep the Zo6 it will sound terrific and the flow will be similar to an aftermarket catback..

Plus one thing I Hate is almost every aftermarket catback I've driven (and I've driven EVERY single one on the market of the several hundred C5's I've tested) .... "pops" or "cackles" on deceleration or has rasp punching the throttle at a low rpm. The Zo6 has none of those symptoms.... it's also unique in sound, mature in volume altough it does scream at wide open throttle and it's got the lightest weight out there...

To me... the Zo6 is the best... plus they don't cost much used. Around $400

Yeh, i have the titanium exhaust stock on my z06, but from what i understand is there is very little or no power made from and aftermarket axleback over the stock titanium. So besides paying $1000, getting a louder more raspy exhaust with minimal hp gain ~5whp theres no point to upgrade? I plan on doing heads, cam, 90mm tb + intake mani, maybe 100shot and kooks longtubes w/catted x-pipe and just wanted to make sure the stock titanium exhaust wouldnt act as a bottle neck, restrict flow and rob me of 20+hp or so. I talked with a guy that had 6 c5 z06s and he said to stick with the stock titanium and i would rather get new wheels instead of a axle back with minimal gains.

A catback will gain you little to nothing on the dyno. Save up for some good long tube headers and call it done. I have LG headers and Borla Stingers and am getting ready to swap back to my stock Z06 cat back. The car is real loud with the Stingers, nice if you want to rattle the neighbor's windows though.
