Question LS6 or Street Warrior LSx Intake

Well I will be doing a Cam install on my 98 Formula. With most bolt-ons and the stock ls1 intake I put down 348hp/357tq last month.

I could get the LS6 intake for around 350, but would like to know if I should hold out a bit and get the new Street Warrior. How much does that LS1 intake hold me back??

Thanks
Brandon

The LS1 is the worst to have out of all the available intakes... not that it's bad or anything, just not the BEST one to have when you compare them all...

The LS6 is proven, but I'd probably hold out for the Street Warrior. But don't hold your breath, it's been on hold for a while now

And who knows if it is really any better than the LS6 or FAST intake manifolds.

I would go with street warrior

granted its un proven if its anything like a FAST intake, it will be better option then LS6.

The price of an LS6 intake has gone up

I have heard a MSRP of $650... That could be just a rumor.

I spoke with Weiand today and they stated the intake should be out in mid August. Also, they stated that as of now no testing has been completed. Lastly, they've had multiple issues finding a manufacturer for it. Hopefully they'll get it together and give FAST a run for they're money!

Their money.

Also, I would just get the LS6. The Street Warrior has been delayed several times. LS6 is a good mod for the money.
