t/a wheels fit a grand prix?
i have the 16in stock wheels off my 2000 t/a. will they fit my 1998 gtp grand prix, which are also a 16in wheel? is the offset going to be way off and rub? i"m not sure the lug pattern is even the same, being front wheel drive ~vs~ rear wheel. i know it's a noob question. i just don't have a place to work on my cars right now. i sold my house last year and an now living in a lakefront condo. I MISS MY GARAGE BADDLY!!!!!!!!!!

your right....the bolt pattern on the grand prixs is the same as say a 00-05 impala (5x115)...and the T/A has the 5x120.65....i know however that they do make spacer and adapter kits to get different bolt patterns on to other cars....but i personally would not recommend doing such...not too sure on how safe it is in the long run...although a hub swap is somthing i would do....just need to figure out what would be needed...

thanks guys. thats what i figured the bolt pattern was different. no big deal.
used a hub plate once and will never do that again. allways figting with out of balance concerns. i just have the t/a wheels clogging up my storage space. in antisapation of some low life ripping my boyd rims of my t/a.
i'll have to look into swapping a set of hubs. my wife works at a chevy dealer and i can dig through the warranty bin for fitment.

Ya i didn't believe it either till a friend of mine put on some flat track black modulars with a beadlock and slicks onto his GT as a joke and just to take a few pics. They were off of a hobby stock car or something, i'm not sure of the classes, but it was a mustang. Looked mean as hell but he couldn't make 90 degree corners.
