Default what do u think of this setup? suggest?

ive been going through a few mags; circling, dreaming and all. but now finally its going to happen soon. (kinda tight budget; preferablly bold-ons)
I want jus a street machine that'll pick up quick but still have that mid range pickup when i need it. this car would probably never see the strip and i live in california so it has to pass smog.
this is all jus planning; i would appreciate any suggestions at all

ls6 intake: seems to be more affordable than the fast intakes
(seen some used ls6 in classifieds here for as low as 250)

90mm fast tb: seem more common among lsx

trick flow cnc heads: p/n TFS-3060T001-C01. i was thinking about cast but.. another 500? i think its worth it

slp long tube headers; smog legal (pricey)

and probably duals with 3" pipes

got the K&N cold air intake already

i need suggestions for a cam.. i kinda like the rough idle
and rockers n all
and any other suggestions.. would this work out>? any good>? wat kindof HP should i expect?

thanks all

Get the Ls6 intake, long tube headers.high flow cats, good tune and as far as I know the 224 cam is the biggest smog legal cam. If you want more hp you won't be smog legal, N/A that is.

90mm TB won't work with an LS6 IM. There are a lot better headers for less $$ than SLP.

Just get your throttle body ported. You should only put a cam in after the headers. Pacesetter makes good headers and they are cheaper than slp. The 224r is a cam that will be good for a street car.

will that 224r cam match the trick flow heads?

and as of now everything is stock. what if i jus popped in the headers and the 224r? would it run fine? would i need to tune? what about after all the upgrades on it?
