It's you taking anonymous peoples yes's or no's vs doing it the only right way and checking it vs having your entire engine destroyed when a valve head breaks off.

What would you prefer?

You can check it with no tools, just a valve spring remover--better than the above two wrong choices.

If they are welded chambers than they are not milled, so yes it should fit.

i know i can check it that way. just want to see if anyone else has done this combo and ran in ptv combos. just peice of mind. all it takes is check springs and playdough/clay. i'll prob use the mls gaskets cuz of the the better clearence.

59cc 5.3L heads require flycutting

Why are there so many questions about this?
Just check.
People ask if this combo will work without flycutting, if the answer is no they switch to something else--thats not how you build an engine.

No one asks about their .010 under crank and .010 under bearings do you think it'll work. I guess thats easier, you can throw that together.

You need nothing to get a yes or no answer on PTV clearance, no checking springs, no clay, all you need is to remove one intake and one exhaust spring, and mock it up.

If you find you need to cut then you can buy the tools so what you do is accurate.

What valve sizes? I have the exact same setup with 2.02/1.57" valves. You might want to think about going to a tr230 or somthing in that range. I had to retard it -4 degrees to gain enough clearance. It was still right on the bare minimum clearances. I just haven't got another cam to throw in there yet.
