Default Need FTRA installed pics

Can anyone post some picture of the FTRA installed on their cars. First of all mine fit horribly. Had to modify a few things to make it fit. Most of all in looking for pictures of it from the bottom where it takes in the air. It seems llike mine is too high up and not poking out enough

hopefully that helps.

Mine fit poorly as well, had to mod the hell out of the lower airbox to get it to work.

you'll know it is in all the way when you are able to thread the 4 bolts for the radiator support/air deflector AND when the duct sit flush on the air box base when you pull it towards the front of the car. Mine fit pretty good, all i had to do was drill out one of the bolt openings in the deflector panel to get the support bolt to slide through easily.

Had to play with mine some. Took it out twice and put it back in. For some reason, the last time it pretty much fell in place. Have some one push down from the top with you under the car. That worked for me. Good luck!

I put a FTRA on about a year ago and it fit good. Exactly where did you have problems at?

I think the biggest pain in the *** was cutting the black plastic. I had to take it back out because I didn't have it together correctly. After I did that it fit great.

I have asked ebay sellers and Fast Toys this question with no response, what all comes with the kit? I have the K&N FIPK and am looking to go with the FTRA but I don't have the base that the Filter sits on anymore. Don't mean to jack your thread.

I had just seen a picture of I believe the SSRA installed from the front, and it was clearly visable right under the front end of the car. Mine on the other hand is tucked up in the the air duct near the radiator. Am i supposed to be able to see the steel air duct from the front of the car?

I dont get what is different about this kit from the SLP 1 except the fact it has alil plate that is on a slant. I say save 50 bucks and just make 1 out of sheet metal for a few bucks.
