Default HELPASAP! FuelPump LS1 4 V6?

very important question are the ls1 and v6 fuel pump interchangeable if not how can i make it work?

time is very essential right now my fuel pump burned out i have a salvage yard with ls1 pumps

I also need to buy the harness considering it burned up as well

i'm leaving for iraq in 4 days and need my car to run ahhh!!
perfect timing right?

here's the story for those who are interested:

Saturday I was driving on the NJ Turnpike (left lane) when all of a sudden i feel the resistance of the road quite tremendously.... I notice my RPM's are down and the scary fact that my car has just died.... I quickly turned on my right blinker and stood on my horn pushing people out of the way to clear the lanes and get off into the shoulder.... I later had my car towed to a garage... (usually it would be towed home) but because of my time restraints I had no other option... until recently I have learned my fuel pump and harness are done... therefore the charge goes into the 1k zone which as a wrench turner no f**#IN way.... So I *will be cutting an access hole and this thing will come out... now all i need is a damn lesson on how to proceed with this the right way get it done and drive!

ANY IDEAS GREATLY APPRECIATED

Your salvage yard should have hundreds of V6 pump assemblies they are different.
