Default TB help what gives

ok at daler he says that the 98-00 TB is different then the 01-02.

first is this true?

second is there any differences?

thanks
guys

edit:
ok well this is what my buddy did to his car.
pulled the trany and had it fixed
put new main seal in
put new flywheel and clutch in
put trany back.
put headers on.
(had friend) port tb.

now it won't run. seems like timing is off. could this be possible. car sat with battery out for about 2 months.
so what the hell

You don't want to get one from a dealer #1.

#2 The 98-99 are the same, 00+ have a different throttle camber (shaft) that accelerates the throttle differently. You need the one for your car.

I have new ones and ported ones and powdercoated ones.... etc.

here's a pic of the different cam sections. Springs are different as well, some will argue this point, but the tension on the 98/99 brown spring is higher than that of the 00,01,02 blue spring...98/99 is the one on the left
