I think by creating an actual, solid/dense speaker box instead of mounting the speaker in the door, you get better acoustics

I made these enclosures for much better sound almost twice as much compared to installing in the door alone.major increase in bass.

The speakers I chose Alpine spx componets just did'nt sound good just in a door even though I completely insulated the door.(maybe because there competion type speaker?

I'm also thinking that speakers in the store sound much better for a reason there in a enclosure.

Also the dynoabsorb almost elimitates all distrosion.
