Your lack of grasp on the english language probably has most people (including myself) scratching their heads questioning WTF you are talking about.

We're a new sponsor on the forums and we offer the wheels you're inquiring about - ZR1 with the wider polished lip. Watch the "Group Purchase" forum for an announcement later today or early tomorrow. We will be offering some great deals!

I believe he's referring to the design differences in the lip between replica wheel manufacturers. For some, the polished portion is just the outward facing part of the lip. For others, that wraps carries around the curve and in toward the spokes of the wheel.

well I mean a big/wider lip than the regular zr1's. I seen some zr1s with a nice lip and some with no lip at all

We offer the wheels with the wider polished lip and I've posted our new group purchase.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/sponsor-group-purchases/940462-group-buy-wheels-zr1-c5-c6-z06-motorsports-more.html

Out of respect for our suppliers and other vendors, we can't post our group purchase prices - they are too low to be published. Please contact me for details.

Great to see you guys like the wider polished/machined lip as well and that other companies are now producing them. For many years, AFS was the only company that made them.

Some of you who have been around for quite a few years may remember my ordeal of ordering these supposedly wider-lipped black ZR1s from a company on Ebay called OE Wheel Concepts. They picture the wider lip (which was only produced by AFS, so that means they were picturing a wheel that wasn't theirs), but the version they ship has the thin lip. In my opinion, the thin lip looks like hell because it isn't enough of a contrast.

I ran the wide-lipped black ZR1s on both my 2000 Z28 and also on my 02 Z28.

There is still a lot of that going on. I've been here as an enthusiast for more than 6 years and restoring classic muscle cars before I was old enough to drive them. When deciding which products to carry I required everything to be of the same quality I would put on my own cars - and that's a tough criteria to meet. I've looked at every replica wheel on the market, and the quality varies SIGNIFICANTLY. The AFS wheels looked nice, but I had several sets that just wouldn't balance. I got a nice hand massage at 60+MPH from the vibration. Thankfully other companies have stepped in and raised the bar.

I need to see some pics of these wheels. I'm on the fence about ordering these or sticking with the black z06 motorsports I have.
