I'm assuming you have pressure in the system right?

Are you SURE the system has pressure? That's what my issue is... I jumped the compressor while it was on the car and it worked great. Found the leak and am going to replace the part and recharge it.

so.... if you jumped the relay and it worked then the low pressure switch is functioning - you just have low pressure. Sorry your posts are kinda hard to follow.

Yea, put everything back to normal and jump the pressure switch plug.

Sounds like you have a leak somewhere that's letting the pressure bleed off, in turn causing the low pressure switch to disable the compressor. This is EXACTLY what's wrong with my car.

There are three wires in that plug, you jumped the wrong ones.
There is no low pressure switch on a 98-02 f body. The switch on the liquid line cycles the compressor and fans on high pressure. It does provide a low pressure cut out. It's not a low pressure cycling switch like the older cars.

Possibly a stuck relay, or a damaged wire somwhere in your harness.

Hard to follow your posts.

And your A/C system is overcharged with 3 cans of R134a... It's not going to blow as cold as it should, and you may also damage that brand new compressor.

Next time have it charged at a reputable shop, or at least buy a manual for the car.
