Header gaskets: re-use stock gaskets or use cheap paper like it says. should i re-use the stock exhaust gaskets for my headers? they look to be in pretty good shape and they look like high qual material. ...the gaskets that came w/ the headers look like cheap paper ones. i don't feel like spending MORE money on fancy aftermarket gaskets. thanks!

If you dont like the looks of your stockers, go to a GM stealerships parts counter and get a new set of gaskets. Stock ones are the best way to go. Good luck.

I've ordered 4 sets of headers...3 were my cars(01 Z28, 05 GTO, 02 Z28) and also one set for my friend.
All were Pacesetters, all from the same sponsor. Two sets came with metal gaskets, two came with paper gaskets.
I think it's hit or miss.
