Sweet stuff. I can't wait to shoot this video for mine. The first start was a little bit hard. Have you had a computer on it yet to tune any of the codes, VATS or anything out of it yet? Are you using the stock style throttle cable or FBW?

Congrats.
Just make sure you have oil pressure. Mine started right up only to find out the next day when I put the gauge on it I had zero pressure. After pulling the engine out 2 more times I finally fixed the problem. Apparently the ls1 has issues priming the pump if they have been sitting for extended periods.

Other guys say just take the spark plugs out and crank it over for a minute or two until oil is visible in the rockers.
Nice sounding motor. I should have started mine a month or two ago, but just can't find time to finish it off.

I don't have any pics of them because they aren't 100% done yet. I still need to clean up the welds and powdercoat. Then I'll take pics.
The manifolds/headers are heavily modified stock manifolds off a 99 vette. I cut the flange off, welded 1.75+ tube to new flanges cut to 2 3/8", welded that to the manifolds, cut the collector off, welded in part of a 2.5" j-pipe. No pics of them yet either.
