Default Anybody have QTP Dual Cutout Y Pipe??

Looking at the QTP Dual Cutout Y Pipe wondering if anyone on here has it and how it is any scrapping, dislikes and comments on it before i buy it. also my car is lowered 1.5 inches...

I dont have one, but I have not heard anything good about qtp y-pipe when it comes to ground clearance. I would recomend something else.

I have it, and I am NOT impressed with the fit. If you decide to get one, pry the bitch around until you get the most ground clearance and at least tack weld the pieces together; the clamps (at least on mine) simply won't exert enough force to keep everything where you want it for more than a couple of days.

i had the sts kit on my car when it was lowered.. i never went over speed bumps but theres got to be others out there with this y pipe......

I had an exhaust shop fabricate similiar cut outs onto my 3" true duals in the same locations (with the obvious difference being the merge). I spent less than $100, and lost no ground clearance. Custom is always the way to go when clearance is an issue.

I have the same set up Y-Pipe, but pacesetter. I hate it gound clearance isn't bad but it rattles on the frame everytime I accelerate. So I wouldn't go with them either.
