Depends what kind of track your talking about. This also makes the assumption driver skill are completely equal and both are using the same tires, which both have a huge effect on the outcome. I would put all bets on the WS6 though. At least in autox the TA has the upper hand. In road racing, I'm not so sure but on tighter tracks the TA probably has it there.

WS6, the weight kills the GTO.

I will say WS6, the goat requires way to many suspension mods to get our fat pig to hook. I have had WS6 with 150 less whp beat me down the track. My 60' suck as I need a full Drag setup to hook. My AVG 60' was 1.9 and best was 1.7

IRS is not a good thing at the track. I would give anything for a solid rear axle like you guys.

im fairly sure he was talking road course. theres more to racing then just a straight line.

id also agree the TA would be much better at a road course, and autox. the GTO is very heavy, and people have been racing very sucsessfully on solid axles for 60+ years. only when you get very advanced does an IRS come into play.

and again, the drivers have 95% to do with it, rather then the car or set-up. to really find out, switch cars and take each others for a ride, and see what your times are.
