Default Coil pack question

Hi, does anyone know if all LS1 coil packs are interchangeable the reason being, I have an 2004 GTO LS1 motor which looks like one of the coils is breaking down when hot. There are some older ( fbody) LS1 coil packs for sale locally and all I could see as a difference was that mine have a black resincore and the older ones have a white resin core. Just need one to use as a swap to locate the bad one really
Many thanks.

do you have the round smaller body coil or the larger ls1 type, the mounting hole centers are diff between the two. If they are the same ls1 orginal body shape you should be OK, the connector will be the same.
