Default Engine wont start it might just have taken a sh...

I think my engines seen better days, its got 186,XXX miles. Wont start, electrical system is good. Anyone got any recomendations on were I should take my car to get it looked at locally preferrably in the san gabrial valley? Perhaps someone who's got some knowledge on lt1's?

Dose it crank? Or dose it feel like it's seized?

if you already checked for spark, check for fuel, you can check for pressure at the fuel rails.

Pull out a spark plug (still attached to wire) and ground to something like your echaust manifold and then turn the car over and see if you can get a spark. That will determine if it is spark related. Also pull yout intake off just before your your maf and spray starter fluid in there and then turn it over. See if that helps those are both super easy ways to check for fuel and spark problems.

I've replaced the plugs, wires, coil, opti, and fuel pump on my 97 SS. I've pretty much been through it all when it comes to a LT1. Depending on where you are located, I can help you out.
