Default LT install whippin my ***

Needed to vent. Installing LT's in your garage is a pain in the ***. I did a pair on a lift and it was cake, this, not so much.

ARH. I havent had a problem with the actual headers yet, just been a pain getting the old **** off. They actually slid in pretty easily with the front on ramps and the rear on jack stands. Plus I havent been able to devote the time I wanted to. Hopefully going to finish tomorrow.

Try doing a full engine swap in a 1 car garage. It sucks pretty bad too haha. Sucks when you don't have all the little toys to make everything easier huh.

yeah at least Im in a 2 car garage. The only tools I have is the 260 pc craftsman set my wife got me for fathers day. And the breaker bar I had to buy. I would recommend ratcheting wrenches, breaker bar, swivel socket, and deep sockets to someone looking to do this. Im still waiting for something major to go wrong, so far only thing I broke was the coolant sensor on the head, and I already have another one to put in. I'm also doin it by myself so that sucks too.

Ive done so many longtube header installs in my garage with just a jack and basic tools so many times, me and my buddies have it down to an hour. Just make sure you have a friend with you. One can hold the headers in place from the bottom while the other one can line them up and tighten them down and get the car real high with a jack, the higher it was the easier it seemed to work on.

got them finished today, car is loud as ****. Only issue I might have is a couple of the starter wires are about 1/2 to 1" away from one of the primaries. I zip tied them up as good as I could so hopefully they wont melt.

TSP rumbler. In hind sight, it was a mistake. It sounded good and bearable stock, but now its rediculous. Too raspy. Im thinking about welding in another muffler.
