Default mielage difference w/ 4.11

How much would my mielage drop with cnanging my stock 3.42, to 4.11s. i have a t-56. just wondering how often I would be filling up. Or would it be better to go with 3.73 for mileage sake or would the performance not be as great. Thanx in advance.

they say going from the 3.42 to the 4.10 your milage will only change by one mpg. if you dont have a 12bolt,i would go with the 3.73's.

around town mileage went up 2 mpg on the highway it went down about 2 mpg. With an M-6 mileage should not be a concern I cruise at 70 at less than 2000 RPM and get 26-27 mpg.

I lost ~11 MPG with 4.11s. That could be because I can't keep my foot out of it though.

Really it didn't change of I drive sane.

Did heads and cam at the same time so it's hard to really know what caused what.

before 4.10 gears, heads and cam ~ 23.5 to 24.5 mpg

before 4.10 gears, heads and cam best mpg on trip 32.8mpg

before 4.10 gears, heads and cam worst 16 mpg - first tank of gas.

after 4.10 gears, heads and cam average 21-23mpg

after 4.10 gears, heads and cam best 26 mpg

after 4.10 gears, heads and cam worst 16 mpg

~250 mile trip to drag strip with some driving in small towns & 6 passes at the strip 25mpg with gears & H & C
