Default Should I install the ls6 intake?

I've got a brand new ls6 intake sitting in an untouched box, not sure if I should or shouldn't sell it here and put the money towards my turbo build and keep running the ls1 intake til I change it later down the road. My problem is I'm going to go back to school full time and kinda hesitant about spending another $1800 to complete the turbo build. If I sold this for.. let's say $400, I'd only lack about $1400 for the turbo build... which MIGHT be doable. I don't really think 10hp is really worth the $400, but I also have a feeling I SHOULDN'T go through with the turbo build while in college... if something goes bad, well, it's my only way of transportation. The motor is a forged 347, 8.7:1 CR. Will it be ok to run around for years on that low of compression NA?

Unless you plan on getting a FAST intake later on down the road...go ahead and install the LS6 intake....And since you are going turbo...the gain would be more from the swap than on an N/A car...

Sure you can drive around with low compression. My friend built a 4.6L 4v motor for his Mustang and it was around 8.5 or so because he was eventually going forced induction. But he just needed to get it running before then. It will dyno like a turd..but driveable. Just don't race anyone. You might not like the results..haha

Do it, you can always just sell it after you get your turbo system.

Install it. Those things hold their value, so if you want to sell it down the road for some reason you really won't lose money. They go for like 300-350 bucks on here. I doubt that much is going to make or break your turbo build.
