Default G-80 Locker?

I sat through a GMC truck infomercial today and they
were showing the benefits of their "G-80 Locker"
option. Saw someone refer to this as the Eaton G-80.
Is this another reincarnation of the Detroit Locker,
a different locker, and is this the "Eaton Posi" I
see people refer to as an aftermarket alternative for
the F-body 10-bolt?

On the infomercial it looked like its apply was kind
of jerky - a little wheel slip, then bang, locked.
Just the thing for spindly little axles and small
gears, I bet.

G80's suck, it is one of the first things us truck guys swap out, when you hit them with some real power they just stop locking at all.
