Default Desperately Need Some Help From the Experts

Hey all,

My 99' Z28 with minor mods has sucked down oil ever since I've owned her. I've done everything I can as far as PCV, Oil Weight, Top End Cleaner, and I'm guessing its the piston rings. I don't want to sell it--so I'm curious what I would be looking at for getting the rings replaced. Also I was thinking if they have to tear it down I might as well get her done up. I don't have a lot of cash and it would need to be totally streetable. Any thoughts?

If it's not down on power or blowin alot of blue smoke don't worry about it. It's very common on these cars if you drive it hard.

You may try an oil catch can. It has seemed to slow my oil consumption down some. I usually burn about 1qt every 3000 miles.
