I just researched the hell outta the tire prices across the Atlanta area last week for those same size tires in BFGoodrich. Most places were around the same anywhere between 6 and 8 hundred for a set of 4. Much to my surprise the Chevy dealership on Cobb Parkway was among the cheapest. Even cheaper than Walmart! if you can believe that. I was going to go through the dealer when I got a coupon in the mail for Cosco 60 bucks off a set of four. I got out the door with a brand new set of 4 BFG 270/40/zr17 tires, mounted, balanced and installed including all disposal fees and taxes for less than 600 bucks! Not painful at all. Not quite as much fun as the last time I ordered new tires and they arrive on my front porch all dressed up and ready to go on their shiny new TTIIs that Tomz had sent me. But hem Costco was quick and easy and cheap.

Their Costco sale goes until I believe June 29 and includes all Michelin and BFGoodrich tires. You can still get a discount for ordering less than 4 but i am sure the discount is more like 10 or 20 off. But hey, that will give ya a quarter tank of gas to get home on.
