WTF! 5.7L desiel street sweeper racing me. My wife, little brother and I were on our way home form the movies (The Iron Man. Good movie). Came to a red light and a parking lot sweeper with chrome rims, 5.7 liter badging on the side and really clean, pulls up next to me and starts glancing at me. My wife says "I think he wants to race" and my little bro is like "OH YA!" So I thought nothing of it. Light turns green and I take off kinda slow, but not too slow. That sweeper took off quick and sounded like it was modded. I was like WTF!
So instead of shifting in 3rd, I just left it in second and gassed it. Of course he had no chance with an F-body. I was at 75 when I looked in the mirror and he was way back there. He got me at the next light and was still glancing at me. Well, I had to turn left. So WTF!? Street sweepers are in now? This was the cleanest parking lot street sweeper I have ever seen. Good enough to be show style. Even the brushes on the side didn't even look used. Maybe it was new.
