Default LT1 12 bolt in to LS1 car?

I have the opportunity to pick up a KTRE 12 bolt for next to nothing that was in an LT1 car. I have an 02 SS Vert, can/should/how hard would it be to put this in my car?

any reputable machine shop will be able to swap your backing plates. you'll also need new bearing's.
