Default Make the TA non ram air work

With my new formula I just did the free mods and was looking at the dirt under the hood from the air intake. I saw little rock chips under the hood where the two front holes line up on the bumper. I think if cut smartly not removing too much of the hood latch support I could make it work.

Has anyone done this? I don't want a ram air hood, I want to keep the stock Formula look.

Well, your post should be in the external engine section ... you might get more of a response there.

But yes, I've done it. The link below has a couple of pics in the post. I put velcro around the front holes and use sheet plastic blockers in heavy rain. I also left the gussetting on the back side for stability and strength.

When you shine a flashlight into the holes from the scoops you can see the underside of the air filter. It's a direct shot of cold air.

What color is your Formula, btw?

I did the same "mod" too. I guess every little bit helps.

Yeah guys I thought I had posted it there. Sorry...

I thought I could do it thanks for the link.

Its white and looks just like Blu's car with Zr1 rims. I still need to drop it.
