i guess it's just getting old after almost 9 years. anyone know how to fix a fob that seems to go out every week or so? or is there a cheapish way to get a new one? i clean mine like once a week and it works for about a week and then just kind of slowly stops. any help is appreciated.

Get a new one..Why screw around? They are only like $50 new

Check on ebay and get one cheaper than $50. You may have to reprogram it. From my understanding, the reprogramming isn't hard at all.

I got one from the dealer,programmed it myself..Very easy..I ordered one from original keyless..I swear,it took exactly 2 months to get it..Its an extra.I didn't want any longer..I called them 4 times..E-mailed them about 5..Terrible service. Everything else I have ever ordered online from other vendors has been great..
