Default FAST 90 or 92....tune absolutely required? or can i drive it to the tuner?

would like to pick one up soon.

plan to install it myself. just wondering what kind of driving problems i may have prior to a tune...if any.

i'd need to drive 2-3hrs to get the tune.

for those who ended up needing a tune...COULD you have driven that far...babying it?

If your doing just the intake, you can drive it. By the looks of it you have a basic tune in there. If at best no WOT blast.

It'll most likely drive perfectly fine.

that's what i was hoping...and in a way expecting.

but it seems i've heard people say they could barely drive the car following the install.

if its stuff like higher than normal idle i'm ok with it...

thanks guys

you can drive it. how much power you plan on making?

if you don't plan on making more than 850HP , then just get you the 90mm setup (tb and intake) as it will handle a LOT of power

or just go whichever is cheaper for you

i'm not sure what you mean.

i'm not asking whether the intake is worth it or not. just whether i will be able to drive it after the FAST install untill i can get it tuned.

but to answer your question, right now i'm at 400rwhp...plan for heads and the FAST over the next couple years.

would like to see 450rwhp for now. untill i win the lotto then maybe a LSx with boost . but thats not even somehting i'm planning on now

May hunt for idle but you'll be fine when it comes to driving it.
